Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking for a motivated Construction Supervisor to join our team in a permanent role. If you have a thorough understanding of the residential building industry and the construction techniques required for quality workmanship, this role is for you.

About the Role

As the Construction Supervisor for Pacific Blue, you will be responsible for the management of trades, suppliers, quality control and delivering projects within the companies time frame guidelines.

About you

  • Ability to problem solve, negotiate and mediate to achieve the desired result.
  • Ability to interpret building plans, statutory reports, specifications, standards and other relevant building related documentation.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisor/foreperson role within the construction industry
  • Trade qualified with in the building and construction Industry (preferred)
  • Cert IV in building and Construction (preferred)
  • Experience with Construction Management Software.
  • Possess the the drive to immerse yourself in helping create our clients dream homes.

The Role

This position integrates with everyone in our small but cohesive team. Your duties will include;

  • Schedule project progression along side our Construction Manager
  • Review completion of works before approving payment of invoices
  • Quality Assurance and monitoring deliverables
  • Identify defects/problems and proactively resolve the issues
  • Oversee all onsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Perform maintenance and warranty inspections as required.
