River Lily

Set across a private acreage parcel, Riverlily is a home designed and delivered to sit comfortably within its environment. Considered in scale, highly functional, and built for the way this family lives day to day. With a large, open site to respond to, the home has been carefully positioned and proportioned to feel like part of the landscape, while still creating a strong presence. The layout has been resolved to balance connection and separation, allowing key living zones to open up for entertaining, while maintaining quieter, more private areas across the home.

Set across a flat, uniquely shaped block in a busy pocket, Mill Road presented a clear construction decision from the outset... how to create a sense of privacy, presence, and flow within a highly exposed environment. Through considered planning and precise execution, the home has been positioned to turn inward where needed, while still maintaining a strong and confident street presence.

At the centre of the design is a horseshoe configuration, positioning the main bedroom, kitchen, living zones, balcony, pool and outdoor entertaining areas to fully embrace the view. This approach allows the home to open outward... bringing in light, breezes and surrounding landscape, while maintaining a strong sense of privacy from neighbouring properties.
