How Pacific Blue came to life on the Sunshine Coast
Established in 2000, Pacific Blue is a family business, built on the Sunshine Coast where Cameron and Drew were born and raised. Our core values were simple: build incredible homes, with the same care, attention and accountability as if they were our own.
2000
Pacific Blue was founded with a clear purpose: to build homes to a meticulous standard, while delivering a level of care and experience rarely seen in the industry. From humble beginnings in a converted shed, we have since grown into something far greater than we imagined. A ripple that continues to expand with every home we build.
2014
We quickly outgrew our converted shed and needed a space that could support the pace of Pacific Blue’s growth. At the core of this transition was a clear commitment: to never lose the level of care and communication we were built on, and to continue delivering high quality homes for each and every client.
2020
As Pacific Blue evolved, so did our team, experience, and capability. By 2020, we had established a project manager & supervisor, an organised management team, a highly experienced design team, and a crew of over 12 carpenters to ensure every project will continue to meet the same standard.
Studio Sora
That's why we created Studio Sora, a dedicated in house design studio that works exclusively within Pacific Blue. Our designers and builders share the same office, the same conversations, and the same commitment to every project.
Today
We work collectively as a team of professionals: Office management, Estimators, Studio Sora, Construction Management & a team of carpenters (1 who has been with us since 2000). Pacific Blue remains one of the Sunshine Coast's most trusted names in Sunshine Coast Custom Home Builders & Designers.

Our partnership with Mission Abundance is something we value deeply, not as a distant initiative, but as a hands on & ongoing commitment to people and place.
Through direct relationships with communities in Uganda, our team is involved beyond financial support. Each year, we contribute to coordinated trips that bring together medical professionals, skilled tradespeople, and volunteers on the ground. From facilitating access to essential healthcare, to constructing safe and functional structures through experienced carpenters, these efforts are shaped by real needs and delivered with care.
Alongside this, we provide regular donations of food and supplies to support day to day living within the community.
What makes this meaningful for us is the connection. These aren’t one off contributions, but consistent, personal involvement built on trust, presence, and genuine care. It’s about showing up, contributing where it matters, and being part of something that creates lasting, tangible impact.

As a major sponsor of their regular soccer matches, we’re proud to support an environment where young people can come together, stay active, and build confidence through sport. The teamwork, resilience, and sense of belonging that develops both on and off the field is paramount for children's development.
Being part of these events, week in and week out, allows us to contribute to something consistent and positive within the community. Supporting local schools like Immanuel is one of the ways we invest back into the place we live and work, helping create opportunities for the next generation to grow and thrive.
Food Donation Boxes
As a team, we regularly bring in food and everyday essentials to fill care baskets in our office. Once ready, these are passed on to individuals and families within our local community who need a little extra support.

The next step was to have a face to face conversation with Studio SORA. They were so engaging and really helpful, listening to all our plans and ideas and making us feel like anything was possible. We left feeling really excited and impatient to see what they came back to us with.
Fast forward after more face to face meetings and throwing lots of ideas around, we were so happy with the design we came up with. Between the team, Pacific Blue have created the most beautiful, liveable , individual and beautifully crafted home. It really has the Wow factor ! All our friends are just blown away by it. Drew led the boys onsite who were all so polite and accommodating to our visits and requests and Drew liaised with us constantly and once again nothing was too much trouble.
In the background everyone worked behind the scenes keeping all the orders coming through in time (all during the most challenging of covid times) We love our beautiful new home and have never been more happy with a builder. From the initial consultation to the final handover the entire team at Pacific Blue have been outstanding. They actually listened to what we wanted and worked with us to accommodate our design wishes and our budget needs.
Our site manager and the trades involved were all top notch and there was no problem with communication through the build. Likewise with any issues that were raised there was no delay in getting things reworked or amended.
The final product is a fantastic home that is well above other builders.

The planning phase was so thorough and considered, and once the actual build commenced, we had absolute confidence that Pacific Blue was going to deliver a house that is absolutely spectacular!!
