Monarch

At the centre of the design is a horseshoe configuration, positioning the main bedroom, kitchen, living zones, balcony, pool and outdoor entertaining areas to fully embrace the view. This approach allows the home to open outward... bringing in light, breezes and surrounding landscape, while maintaining a strong sense of privacy from neighbouring properties.

The brief and the vision

The design is coastal in its expression, with a bright, fresh aesthetic and a restrained material palette that feels calm and timeless. Every selection has been guided by preference and longevity, rather than short term trends, ensuring the home will hold its quality over time.

Scope

Design by Studio Sora, Build by Pacific Blue

Built for modern family living, MONARCH is a considered response to a sloping site designed to work with the land, not against it. The natural fall of the block has been used to unlock elevation, privacy and an incredible outlook, all captured through a clear and deliberate layout.

High ceilings and full length sliding doors define the main living zone, allowing the home to open completely when required. This creates a seamless connection between indoors and out, supporting both everyday living and larger scale entertaining.

The kitchen sits in a central position, maintaining a direct connection to the outlook while anchoring the surrounding spaces. From here, the transition to the balcony and pool is effortless, with the pool elevated to take full advantage of the site’s natural fall and private surroundings.

The main bedroom has been positioned to capture the same outlook, offering a quiet retreat with a high level of privacy. Waking up to surrounding greenery and distant views is a defining part of the experience.

A separate wing has been dedicated to the kids, along with an additional loungeroom... allowing the home to function across multiple zones, and giving flexibility as family needs evolve.

MONARCH is a home shaped by its site and built around the way it will be lived in. Balancing openness, privacy and practicality through a clear approach.
